Maldon CVS has been invaluable in their advice and in person support in the community work we are doing. They are always there to respond and help find a way forward. They helped us to develop our community hub in Southminster, helped with the management of The Dengie Food Pantry and provided funding advice and over all support for our community work We would really have struggled (and possibly failed) without them.
Anne Sardeson- United Reformed Church, Burnham, Maldon and Southminster
We have had support from CVS with development of the Southminster Community Hub, reviewing the governance, policies and procedures for the Dengie Food Pantry, getting funding and widening the network of organisations working together for suicide prevention. The relationship with the staff, their experience, knowledge and network of support, and ability to advise about funding have been invaluable. The expertise of the CVS team, their knowledge, the networks they can open, how they enable the strategic direction of local projects and help access funding are invaluable.
Jacqui King - Southminster & Steeple Church Benefice, Church of England
Maldon & District CVS provided the support and guidance in getting the Dementia Friendly Community Team for the District up and running. They gave encouragement and support in setting up a district wide dementia awareness and accreditation team facilitating a range of voluntary and non voluntary based services. Without them, we would not exist and residents would be left unsupported. Thank you ☺️
Carlie Mayes - Maldon District Dementia Friendly Community Team
Maldon CVS are my 'go to' organisation. They have helped with guidance on governance and constitution. They can help with 'pretty much anything'. They are a great community resource and we wouldn't want to lose them.
