Maldon and District CVS are able to facilitate access to training on a range of topics to help improve the wellbeing and resilience of the community and/or the skills and knowledge of the local voluntary sector.
Mental Health First Aid is an internationally recognised and accredited training course delivered by InterAct`s team of fully qualified MHFA instructors. The aim is to give you the knowledge, skills and understanding to identify symptoms and support yourself and others experiencing mental health problems.
Courses run over 2 days although we can also facilitate one or half day workshops should there be interest. The costs is £35 per person to cover the cost of materials.

This short webinar provides an introduction to using Disclosure and Barring Service checks as part of your safeguarding and risk management. The course covers eligibility of roles for checks, the different levels of checks, policy requirements and the processes of completing a check including common mistakes made.
