Maldon & District CVS are hosting a free Alzheimer’s Society ‘Dementia Friends’ awareness session, which will offer information on some of the issues faced by people living with dementia, their loved ones and carers.
This session will enable attendees to strengthen their knowledge and understanding of dementia and for participants to become a recognised ‘Dementia Friend’.
The talk will be presented by Mark Neville, who is an Essex Dementia Friendly Communities Co-ordinator (DFCC)* for the Alzheimer’s Society and the Co-chair of the Pan Essex Dementia Action Alliance. Mark has worked for 35 years in Health, social care and the third sector. He has been with the Alzheimer’s Society for the past 11 years.
