PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:
The Beechwood Community Garden Project is working with residents on the Beechwood/Craylands Estate to improve and maintain an existing community garden on the estate. We have volunteering roles for anybody from these areas, or nearby, who want to spend a few hours weekly or monthly contributing towards designing and improving the community garden for all to enjoy. No day is alike on this project – one day you might be helping with bulb planting and the other making raised beds.
With your help and input, we want to create a space that residents such as yourself can have ownership over and enjoy for years to come.
Volunteering is all year round and in all weather. Come out and enjoy being part of a new team, make new friends, contribute to your very own neighbourhood.
You will finish your day with a sense of achievement and will be able to share these spaces with your loved ones and immediate community.
