The Coastguard Rescue Service is a national blue light emergency service that provides 24/7 land-based help to anyone in danger on the coast.
We have exciting opportunities for people to join their local teams as a volunteer Coastguard Rescue Officer.
Full Training, PPE and appropriate uniform is provided. The training amounts to approximately 90 hours over 3 months, some of which may be conducted online.
Ideal candidates must live locally to their station (within 10-15minutes drive). The role is voluntary, but some remuneration is made for time spent training and for attendance at incidents.

Minimum entry requirements for candidates:
- over 18 years old
- Hold a full UK driving license
- good general health and fitness
No previous skills or experience are required as full training is provided. Volunteers will need to have availability to attend training and incidents.
