We are looking for a someone to volunteer their time as a director for Freestyle Performing Arts CIC, a Theatre & Dance school for children with additional needs and disabilities. Giving these children a place to be believed in a place to be included and a place to feel they belong. Based in Harwich Tendring Essex.
We are looking at these skills for our director to have or be trained to have
•good communication skills
•good with Technology
•good at fundraising
•good at event planning
•happy to attend events
•good at meeting others half way on decisions
•Fantastic team work skills
•Happy to come to our classes sometimes and have a great time (DBS will be done)

We run our sessions on Sundays which is not mandatory to attend. But you are welcome to pop in sometimes or volunteer weekly it’s your choice as a director how much time you can or can’t put into face to face sessions. We would do occasional meetings on video chat or watsapp messenger messages to each other on the directors group chat. This is flexible times. We do prefer evenings though for these calls/messages. We already have two committed directors but we are on the look out for a third to take over our third director who is moving onto new journeys. You can commit whatever time as it’s not a mandatory face to face role but whatever you could do to help us would be appreciated greatly
