The aim of Game On is to combat loneliness and isolation and provide fun activities that will boost cognitive and physical health, but we need your help to achieve this.
As an Activities Volunteer you will provide much needed friendship and activities to local residents with dementia, memory loss and frailty - plus their unpaid carers. This can range from getting involved with dominos, quizzes, pool, table tennis, craft and games and helping others to get involved. You don’t need to be particularly fit yourself. The activities are aimed at everyone.
If you can help motivate people, have some ideas for appropriate games and activities and enjoy working/supporting people then this may be the volunteer role for you. Full training provided. You will part of a team.
