Opportunities exist for lively, energetic and practical gardening volunteers to help build a community of garden activists growing food in other people's gardens.
The goal this spring is to grow seedlings to plant in other people’s gardens and at the allotments so that we can feed ourselves, our home owners and sell the rest to fund the project.
Tasks include:
Someone who has the ability to muck in and has a reasonable fitness level. Someone who can deal with practical challenges and who loves the outdoors and wants to grow things.
Some experience of gardening useful but not essential as training is offered. Willing to work outdoors in changeable weather conditions. Willing to work as part of a team.
