Night Club Activity Volunteer

For Friends and Places Together

Register your interest

As a charity we regularly support vulnerable young people to a specialised nightclub for those with additional needs - this is called Freedom and is held at PopWorld in Southend. We require volunteers who are energetic and enjoy the nightclub atmosphere and all that brings while also being resposible and able to support those with additional needs to be safe in the community.
You would assist with helping the young people pay for their entry, paying for drinks and making sure their behaviour is respectable and appropriate, but above all to have a fun and exciting night with their friends.

As a volunteer you will gain valuable experience of working with young people and those with additional needs. If you want to get into the area of Health and Social Care this could act as a great springboard into the workforce and would show you have ample experience. Although never guaranteed, we aspire to offer as much paid work to our volunteers after being with us for a committed period of time. We also cover any expenses incurred.

We need young people who are enthusiastic and willing to help others for a great cause. We need those who can bring excitement and creativity to the role or simply have a passion for health and social care work.
As we grow as an organisation we need as many people as possible to help vulnerable people in the community.

What skills do I need?

No qualifications required.
Experience not necessary.
We offer support, a chance to build up skills and experiences and you will be part of making someone's life truly inclusive. The people we recruit are open-minded, flexible, caring, and trustworthy.

With the application form, we do not require a CV, only a Cover Letter explaining why you would like to work with us.
The informal discussion will be an opportunity for us to meet and get to know you more and talk about shift patterns and best times of working for you.
