Patient Survey Volunteer - Broomfield Hospital

We are looking for an enthusiastic patient survey volunteer who is passionate about improving patient experience.

The patient survey volunteer will help us gather patient feedback by engaging with our patients, relatives and carers.

They will be required to:

• Spend time with patients, relatives and carers listening and helping complete a patient survey and OR Friends and Family test

• To obtain consent from the patient, relatives or carers before progressing with the survey

• To complete filling in the survey/Friends and Family test using an ipad on the patients, relatives or carers behalf

• Liaise with ward staff to identity patient, relatives, or carers to take part in the survey

• Results of surveys will be available via Microsoft forms to the allocated member of ward staff to identify themes and trends that have come through the patient survey that need to be actioned

• To treat all patients with dignity and respect

What skills do I need?

• Good communication skills
• Excellent listening skills
• Confident when communicating with patients, staff and visitors
• Able to use an iPad
• Passionate about patient experience
• Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
• Enthusiastic and outgoing
