Want to be part of our growing team of Volunteer Leaders and able to assist with running weekly evening sessions as well as supervising Cadets in community activities and opportunities to participate in outward bounds/adventure training and delivery of the Duke Of Edinburgh Award Scheme
Promote a practical understanding of policing amongst all young people?
Encourage the spirit of adventure and good citizenship?
Support local policing priorities through volunteering and give young people a chance to be heard?
Inspire young people to participate positively in their communities?
Then volunteering as a Police Cadet Leader could be for you. Ability to assist with admin support, Event coordination, Cadet communications, Induction /training, drill instruction, physical training camps and trips the list is endless
Previous experience of working with young people is not essential, just enthusiasm commitment and a desire to make a difference. Training and support will be given.
Volunteer leaders are asked to commit to an average 4 hours per week, with a minimum commitment of one year to the VPC.
