Shopping Volunteer

For Thurrock CVS

Register your interest

Do you like to shop? Could you put an extra shop in your trolley or pop to the shops to pick up some essentials for a vulnerable person?

BYS supports Thurrock residents on or around discharge from hospital and, wherever possible, keeps them safe at home to prevent admission. Sometimes it can include something as simple as making them safe at home to prevent admission; sometimes it can include something as simple as making sure they have food at home, especially if it's dropped off by a friendly face.

Sometimes essentials may be collected from the foodbank instead of a shop.

This is an ad hoc role and can be quite short notice.

Mileage will be reimbursed.

Please note: this is not befriending
