Millrace Furniture Co-Operative are currently looking for a volunteer to assist their social media manager. This position would be ideal for anyone considering a career in social media or advertising. This is an excellent opportunity to learn from a qualified and experienced social media practitioner while gaining valuable insight and hands-on experience of the skills and processes involved in content creation and social media management. 


Some of the tasks involved in this role include: photography and videography, content formatting, and caption writing. Other aspects of this role the volunteer will get to learn more about from the social media manager include: monitoring and interpreting platform analytics, account networking, and cross-platform management. 


Ideal candidates should be able to be onsite at Millrace Furniture Co-Operative one day a week and have some familiarity with the social media platforms we’re currently active on: Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn. 


What skills do I need?

A good working knowledge of the internet and social media. 

An understanding of website development would be useful.
