T100 Festival Volunteer

Come and be part of making the 2026 T100 Festival happen! We are searching for volunteers to support the running of walks and events across Thurrock during our busiest period.

Volunteer roles can include being a walk team member, event steward, or audience host, as well as supporting the gathering of feedback from attendees. Volunteers will be supported throughout by experienced team members and long-standing volunteers.

This year’s programme brings Thurrock into motion with activities ranging from heritage walks and graffiti workshops to poetry in dye gardens, citizen science at dusk, playful performances, and a joyful festival finale in Tilbury—connecting our past with our future. 

For 12 years, Kinetika's T100 has invited people to explore, talk and create together across Thurrock. In 2026, we return with a special edition of the festival – a journey home. 

Over the two weeks, artists, schools, storytellers, scientists, poets, neighbours and Thurrock’s next generation will come together to share stories, uncover hidden histories, celebrate creativity and imagine new futures rooted in place. 

These events will be taking place across various locations in Thurrock.

What skills do I need?

There are no specific skills necessary. Just a:

• Friendly and approachable manner
• Ability to work well with others, including staff and fellow volunteers
• Comfortable helping things run smoothly during busy events
• Flexible and happy to take on different roles (e.g., stewarding, hosting, walk support)
