Volunteer Ambassadors Needed - Join Us at Local Fairs & Community Events

For Every Child Online

Register your interest

Every Child Online is a UK charity dedicated to ending digital poverty and protecting children and young people from online threats. We refurbish donated IT equipment and provide it to disadvantaged families, schools, and community groups – ensuring no child misses out on education, creativity, or connection due to lack of access. We also run Safe and Smart Online, a growing programme that educates young people and parents about cyber safety, online scams, and the dangers of digital life.

We believe everyone deserves access to technology and the knowledge to use it safely. And we need passionate volunteers to help us spread the word!

What skills do I need?

We are looking for friendly, community-minded Volunteer Ambassadors to help us at local fairs, community days, and school events. You will be our boots on the ground – connecting with the public, raising awareness, and collecting donated tech.

You will play a vital role in helping us: • Collect donated laptops, phones, and devices from visitors at our stand • Talk to the public about online safety, cyberbullying, scams, and how to stay smart online • Hand out support materials and leaflets to parents and young people • Raise funds by helping us sell t-shirts, badges, and other charity merchandise • Represent the charity with pride, sharing our mission and encouraging others to get involved You will be fully briefed and supported by our team, and we will supply all the kit you need – including banners, merchandise, info packs, and device donation materials. We will even drop it off and pick it up from you if needed!

Who we are Looking for

We are after enthusiastic, reliable people who care deeply about digital inclusion and online safety. You do not need to be a tech expert – but if you have got a background or interest in IT, even better!

We would love it if you: • Enjoy meeting people and talking with confidence • Are passionate about supporting your local community • Want to learn more about online safety and help others stay safe • Can give a few hours of your time at occasional weekend events • Are happy to be outdoors, engaging with people of all ages

You will be joining a friendly, supportive charity team and making a real difference to the lives of children and families struggling with digital poverty. What You  Gain • Full support, guidance, and training on our mission and messages • Knowledge and experience in cyber safety and digital inclusion • Volunteer experience to boost your CV or simply give back to the community • The chance to represent a fast-growing, high-impact UK charity • The warm fuzzy feeling of helping children stay connected, safe, and included Interested?
