We are looking for a volunteer to support us with our service users who are looking for work. Your tasks will include: 

Speaking confidently to people to support in their job search.  Connecting with those who may face barriers in searching for work, returning to work or changing career directions.  Assist with sending emails, making telephone calls and updating CVS with those you will be supporting.

You will be supporting the service users in enhancing their skills and gaining confidence as they search for employment. 

We have a Volunteer Investment Program (VIP) which we offer to all volunteers, this can support with discovering your skill sent and future employment opportunities. 

Role Description: Provide guidance and support to individuals seeking employment, assisting with resume writing, interview preparation, and job search strategies.

Key Responsibilities: Assisting with resume and cover letter writing, providing interview preparation, conducting job search workshops, and providing career guidance.

What skills do I need?

We are looking for volunteers from the local community who are inline with our mission status of improving the community for the community

We will support potential volunteers in finding the right volunteer roles for them
