Southend District Pensioners Campaign are seeking an enthusiastic volunteer to join its Committee as a Treasurer, helping oversee the group’s finances and support its growth and activities. SDPC is a self-funding voluntary campaigning organisation affiliated to The National Pensioners Convention.
Role summary of main responsibilities
Manage money and oversee the Campaign Finances,
Prepare financial reports.
Monitor Bank Accounts and reconcile bank statements.
Join the groups Managing Committee order to share information.
Desirable skills and experience.
Experience of basic book keeping.
Administrative, communication and organisational skills.
Personal Qualities.
Trustworthy, enhanced DBS required.
Integrity and a Commitment of acting in the best interest of the group.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Commitment: The volunteer Treasurer is expected to spend around 2-4 hours a month maintain the accounts, by keeping track of cash and bank accounts with a ledger. Attending Committee and Members meeting as required.
