Our shops help us raise money for our Hospices that provides specialist care and support to adults and children living with complex or incurable conditions.
When you volunteer for us, there is a variety of tasks such as; Keeping the gift shop well stocked, rotating stock when required, assisting with new promotions when required. The role may also include sorting donations, steaming, pricing donations, light cleaning duties, restocking shelves and any other reasonable duties designated by the manager in charge. Serving customers with a smile is so important.
The role also involves operating the till where people will come in to donate items and donating them under the Gift Aid Scheme which helps us a charity even more.
We would be looking for a 4 hour commitment each week but you can choose to volunteer more if you wish. We also take on duke of Edinburgh and work experience placements. Under 16s would require a work permit which is a process we will help you with.
