Sales and Marketing Mentor

Maldon and District CVS is a key local charity working to support the voluntary sector and wider community across the district.

In recent months due to changes to our funding we have made some changes to our delivery model and have introduced a charging structure and new services. We are looking for a volunteer who has experience in sales and marketing to work with the team to embed the new approach, help us to identify opportunities and to monitor the impact and develop sales projections.

We are looking for someone to join our board of trustees in the Treasurer role. The MDCVS board is responsible for the governance and strategy development of the charity, this includes good financial management with compliance with reporting requirements to funders, the Charity commission and Companies House.

Company Secretary

The Thames Sailing Barge Trust are looking for someone to fulfil the role of Company Secretary. The Trust would also require the successful person to be a Trustee.

The role involves arranging monthly committee meetings, dealing with enquiries from the public about the Trust’s activities along with looking after the requirements of companies House, the Charities Commission and other regulatory bodies.

Treasurer and Bookkeeper

The Thames Sailing Barge Trust are looking for someone to fulfil the role of Treasurer and Bookkeeper.

The role involves looking after the finances of the Trust, managing its books (paying bills, issuing invoices and managing the bank accounts) and completing monthly management accounts and annual returns, attending monthly committee meetings, dealing with financial queries from the Trustees along with working with accountants when financial returns are required.

You will play a vital role in making sure that Dawn Sailing Barge Trust Ltd. achieves its core purpose. Oversee the management and administration of the charity, ensuring that DSBT  has a clear strategy and that our work and goals are in-line with our vision.

Maldon & District CVS have recently expanded our provision of Walks for Wellbeing across the district and are looking for keen individuals to support with leading these walks.

We are also looking to expand our walks across the District, so if there is anywhere local you are keen on running a walk we are keen to hear from you.

Walks are very gentle and range between 1 and 2 miles.

The Volunteer Coordinator has responsibility for managing the volunteer workforce in all aspects of the museum’s operation.

The Coordinator should enjoy working with and relating to a wide spectrum of people, of all ages and walks of life. They need to be well organised and have basic computing skills.
