We are looking for volunteer to help raise awareness and promote Carers First by hosting an information stand or stall at community events.
• Helping to plan & organise events.
• Helping at some of our events – this can include putting up displays, handing out leaflets, approaching members of the public to talk to them about Carers First and our services, making refreshments, ensuring relevant paperwork is completed e.g. Risk Assessments, PL Certificates etc.
• Booking equipment internally e.g. gazebo, table, chairs tablecloths.
• Assist with promoting on social media and taking photographs.
This role will suit volunteers who :

• Enjoy being in the community.
• Are flexible with hours and travel.
What we need from you :
• A willingness to learn and become part of our team.
• Positive and fun attitude
• As part of our Volunteer Recruitment process, we will ask for references, will complete a DBS check.
What training and support will you receive?
• You will need to do some initial training via e-learning.
• Mandatory training is Safeguarding of Adults & Children and GDPR.
• There are opportunities for ongoing training, usually provided online, in other topics.
• You will have a supervisor who will provide ongoing support.
• We will pay expenses you incur as part of this role, including travel and parking.
• A Carers First T-shirt and name badge
