Undertaking a volunteer role within an Emergency Assistance Centre (EAC)

You will be expected to:

  • Support the EAC manager to work within the designated EAC.
  • Support the EAC Manager and undertake any reasonable task that they require completed.

This role will take place at designated EACs across Thurrock.

What skills do I need?

Skills/Experience:

  • You must be able to communicate effectively with people of different ages, physical and psychological needs and varying backgrounds who are faced with a difficult and stressful situation.

Availability Details

As emergency incidents are not frequent, it will be an 'as and when' role. It could be during the day, on the weekend, or during the night, whenever there is an emergency.
