DUTIES
The post is undertaken on a voluntary basis, with all expenses incurred (e.g. paper, ink cartridges, stamps, etc.) being reimbursed on supply of invoices/receipts to the Treasurer for payment.
The role involves meeting with potential hirers of the hall, so confidence, willingness and ability to interact with people is essential.
Respond to calls to the Reading Rooms mobile phone (07917 076490)
Deal with emails
Deal with postal correspondence
Manage booking requests
Discuss requirements with new customers
Process and monitor bookings in Hallmaster
Generate hire schedule for coming month for our key holders Kodak (Monthly)
Monitor state of the Reading Rooms facilities and act on problems
In liaison with the other Trustees, check the Rooms on a regular (at least weekly) basis for any problems. This includes reviewing the Comments book kept in the kitchen, where hirers can record any issues encountered.
Attend and feedback any issues to the Committee Meetings (maximum 4 per year)
