For Essex Fire Museum (part of Essex County Fire and Rescue Service)

Volunteers are required to support with fitting smoke alarms and giving out fire safety advice to residents in the Thurrock area.  

This role is also available in Harlow, Epping and Braintree.

You will need to have access to a car and be a driver. 

You will be required to be able to communicate to a range of people, 3 days training and shadowing will be provided. 

As you will be entering homes, a DBS will be required
