This November the world comes to Rayleigh for a special Global Village event with live music, storytelling, food and dance followed by Rochford Diwali.
We are looking for volunteers to support this event taking place at The Freight House, Rochford on Sunday 23rd November 2025
Volunteers are required between 12am – 8pm. Shifts are available from 12am – 2noon, 12noon – 4pm and 4pm – 8pm
There are several roles that volunteers can help with as follows:-
Setting up of event equipment
Site vibing – putting up flags and bunting
Information giving to public during event
Hospitality – helping staff and artists
Keeping event space clear and tidy
Packing away event equipment
Marketing support – social media / giving out leaflets and posters, carrying out surveys
