Garden Learning Support Volunteer Sailship Training & Learning For Life

Nature Nurture Programme - Make a real difference in your community while enjoying the outdoors.

As part of Sailship’s Nature Nurture programme, we support children (11+) young people & adults with learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs through meaningful outdoor activities that build confidence, wellbeing, and life skills. We’re looking for friendly, patient volunteers who enjoy nature and want to help others thrive.

What you’ll do:

• Support participants with gardening, planting, and nature‑based activities
  
• Encourage confidence, independence, and social connection
  
• Help create a calm, nurturing outdoor environment
  
• Work alongside our experienced team at our Clacton site

What you’ll gain:
