Maldon & District CVS are looking for volunteers to support with our Community Gaming Initiative (CGI) project, who can help out at regular community gaming sessions
Particularly we are looking for individuals to help with driving the MDCVS company van to assist with set up and close down of sessions.
Due to insurance conversations volunteers must be over 30 and have a clean driving license.
Alongside the driving aspect of this role volunteers will help to set up sessions and support participants, often young people, to choose games, play together and gain confidence.
Sessions will be supporting young people for around 4 hours on Friday and Tuesday evenings and at various times & days during school holiday periods.
A DBS Check will be required for this role and safeguarding training will be provided.
Clean driving license

Weekly community gaming sessions at Maldon Activity Centre 5-8pm, every Friday. Regular gaming sessions also run on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month at Burnham Village hall. 5-7pm. Various events will often often take place throughout the year, particularly during school holidays periods and will most likely be in the evenings or at weekends.
