About the Role
As a Kitchen Assistant Volunteer, you will play a vital role in supporting residents within HARP’s supported living houses by preparing and cooking meals.
This is a hands-on and independent role where you will be cooking for groups of approximately 19–25 residents, helping to provide nutritious, home-cooked meals in a safe and welcoming environment.
You will often be cooking independently, so this role is ideal for someone who is confident in the kitchen and enjoys preparing meals for others.

Key Responsibilities
• Preparing and cooking meals for residents (approximately 19–25 people)
• Managing your time effectively to ensure meals are ready to be served
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised kitchen environment
• Cleaning down the kitchen area after use
• Following food hygiene and safety guidelines at all times
• Being mindful that you are working within residents’ home environments
• Respecting the space and maintaining a professional and respectful approach

Expenses
