About the Role
As a Maths & English Support Volunteer, you will work alongside the THRIVE team to support individuals in developing their literacy and numeracy skills as part of HARP’s Education, Training and Employment (ETE) provision.
This role is focused on building confidence as much as ability. Many of the individuals we support may have had negative experiences with education, so patience, encouragement, and a supportive approach are key.
You will help create a safe and positive learning environment where individuals feel comfortable to engage, learn, and progress at their own pace.
