Volunteer Specification
- Previous experience working around homelessness or vulnerable individuals.
- Attend available training which will be provided throughout your volunteering with us.
Role Description
- Assist the outreach team to provide food and other essential items to those that are experiencing homelessness in the area.
- To offer a person centred approach to each individual in need.
- To help those that are in need of mental health support.
- To assist those experiencing homelessness to have access to support services they require.
- Visit local hotspots for rough sleepers, to provide emergency food or clothing.
- Adhere to St Vincent's Centre's policies and procedures.
DBS is required and will be provided for you
Previous experience working around homelessness or vulnerable individuals.
