- Research and identify potential funding opportunities that align with our goals.
- Collaborate with team members to gather relevant information and data for bids.
- Write clear, concise and persuasive grant proposals and funding applications.
- Ensure all proposals comply with the funder guidelines and requirements.
- Edit and proofread to ensure clarity, coherence, and professionalism.
- Maintain a calendar of submission deadlines and follow-up actions.
- Assist with the development of supporting documents, such as budgets and impact reports.
- Track and report on the outcomes of bid submissions.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our bid writing processes and strategies.
What skills do I need?
- Excellent written communication skills.
- Proven experience in writing bids or grant
proposals (volunteer or professional experience is acceptable).
- Strong research skills and the ability to
synthesize information from various sources.
- Attention to detail and the ability to manage
multiple deadlines.
- Understanding of fundraising principles and
the non-profit sector is desirable.
- Ability to work independently as well as
collaboratively in a remote team environment.
- Proficiency in using digital communication
tools and word processing software (e.g., Microsoft Word, Google Docs).
