Help lead our Wednesday volunteer team and ensure visitors receive a warm welcome at The Jazz Centre UK. You will be responsible to ensure this day is staffed, assist with operational issues and help maintain a positive visitor experience.
This is an excellent opportunity to build leadership and customer service experience whilst becoming a key part of a vibrant and growing cultural organisation. Wednesdays can either be quiet with little footfall, or very busy with a live music event from 12:00 - 2 PM. We are looking for self starters that will help make the quieter days more productive and ensure we are resourced for the live event days. As part of the leadership team you will have a key voice in the organisation to help us develop our team.
As visitor numbers continue to increase, strong volunteer leadership helps ensure the museum operates smoothly and delivers an enjoyable experience for everyone.

This is a weekly volunteering role committing to Wednesdays. Of course, you are welcome to find cover for days you cannot be in or attend to your personal requirements as part of the management role. The important part of the role is to ultimately ensure that Wednesdays are covered by our rota staff, and help resource this day.
