During February half term, our Welcome Hub and Community Gaming Initiative (CGI) will be coming to the Plume Academy in Maldon.
Get information, advice and support from local community organisations around health, wellbeing and essential living support. Everyone is welcome!

The CGI will be hosting a special half term session so if you’re curious about what CGI entails, or are excited to be a future member, then this is the perfect opportunity to first hand experience what it’s all about.
This will be a drop-in session on Thursday 22nd February between 11am – 2pm.
There will be representatives from the following organisations attending:
United in Kind
United in Kind is part of the Essex Wellbeing service, an alliance of specialist organisations offering health and wellbeing support to residents aged 16+. United in-Kind coaches are there to support anyone who is feeling lonely or isolated.
Remap
REMAP are a charity designing and making or adapting equipment for people with disabilities, all their work is free.
Carers First

Essex Child and Family Wellbeing Service
Essex Child and Family Wellbeing Service 5–19-year practitioners will be on hand to answer any questions you have on health needs, and offer emotional and physical support for children.
Mid & North East Essex MIND
Staff from Mid and North East Essex Mind will be there. They will promoting their Personality Disorder Support Service. It’s a service that offers practical support to people 18+ living in Mid Essex area that have a diagnosis of personality disorder or display traits of a personality disorder. They also have peer support groups: 2 in Maldon and one in Braintree.
MDC – Health and Wellbeing Team
A member from Maldon District Council’s Health and Wellbeing team will be joining us at the upcoming welcome hub to engage with residents about the ways in which they can be active in the district. Highlighting sports clubs, organisations and activities they can try.
They will also be able to talk about funding opportunities if anyone may have any upcoming projects that need financial support.
There will also have table tennis set up offering a free activity for those in attendance to join in with and give a try.
