Next Chapter is a domestic abuse charity working across the areas of Tendring, Colchester, Maldon, Chelmsford, Braintree & Uttlesford. We provide free and confidential services to support people who are currently experiencing, or have previously experienced, domestic abuse.
We are passionate about ensuring that every person has the opportunity to live their life free from domestic abuse.
As a Recovery Programme Support Volunteer you will support the smooth delivery of our Next Chapter Recovery Programmes for survivors of domestic abuse. Recovery Programme Volunteers assist the group facilitator in creating a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment where participants can begin to heal and rebuild their confidence.
You will play a key role in both the practical setup and emotional support of participants, helping manage group dynamics and ensuring each person feels heard, respected, and empowered throughout their recovery journey.
