Fundraising Collections Volunteer Driver

Fundraising Collections Volunteer Driver – Southend YMCA Based at Newlands, help us collect essential food and supplies for our residents and youth groups! Once a month, you’ll use your own car, our car, or a minibus to pick up donations and bring them to our centre.

If you’re reliable, friendly, and hold a valid UK driving licence, this is a great way to give back, meet new people, and see the difference your volunteering makes.

Why we want you We are looking for a Volunteer Driver to support our residents and youth groups by collecting essential food and supplies from local outlets. If you are reliable, enjoy helping your community, and have a valid UK driving licence, we would love to hear from you.

What you will be doing • Collecting donated food and essential items from local outlets once a month • Using your own car, our car, or a minibus to transport items safely • Delivering items to our Newlands site for residents and youth groups • Assisting with the loading and unloading of items (this may involve some lifting) • Any other reasonable tasks designated by the Fundraising Team

What skills do I need?
