An Accredited museum and award winning visitor attraction, Stow Maries
Great War Aerodrome is a charity and the largest surviving Great War aerodrome
in Europe.
The museum is a centre for volunteering and with the
assistance of over 100 volunteers, we deliver a wide range of educational and fundraising events each year
that are designed to appeal to families, aviation enthusiasts, historians,
school parties and other youth groups.
We also open to the public most weekends throughout the
year.
As a Gallery Steward you will be based in our
exhibition spaces and aeroplane hangars. You will be available to answer
questions about the interactive displays and exhibitions that tell the stories of the aerodrome and its people over 100 years
ago.
Full training will be given to enable you to do this.
Could this role be perfect for you?
