Steward

We are looking for people who will be able to help us to provide meaningful experiences for visitors. We are

expanding our visitor opportunities at the Priory and need stewards to direct and guide visitors during their

time on site.

The duties and responsibilities of a steward include:

· Supervising groups on tours of St. Osyth Priory.

· Ensuring the safety of the group at all times and following our Risk Assessments as part of a team.

· Answering questions and engaging with visitors to provide an interactive experience

· Dealing with emergencies and unexpected situations as part of a team.

What skills do I need?

· A willingness to learn and work as part of a team.

· A willingness to support the aims of objectives of St. Osyth Priory and Parish Trust.

· Respectful and diligent.

· A personable manner and good people skills.

· Keep to agreed working days and times and be punctual.

· An interest in local history and heritage.

· A willingness to follow the Risk Assessments provided and work with staff in a dynamic way to

ensure the safety of all visitors and users of the site
