Event Volunteer

Become a Part of Something Meaningful This Year!

We are looking for passionate, caring, and enthusiastic volunteers to help us bring our charity events to life throughout the year. If you can spare a few hours, your time can create real change and support for those who need it most.

Events we need volunteers for:

• Cambridge Half Marathon (Sunday 8th March) Come and be part of the cheering squad.
• Arbury Carnival (Saturday 13th June 2026) Helping set up and manage stall.
• Jimmy's Networking Event (Date/venue to be confirmed) Greeting and ushering visitors
• Jimmy's Gala Dinner (Date/venue to be confirmed) Greeting, stewarding etc.
• Jimmy's Carol Concert (Wednesday 2nd December at Great St Mary's) Greeting, ushering visitors and opportunity to enjoy the carol service.
• Mill Road Winter Fair (Saturday 6th December) Helping to set up and manage stall. 

During the year more events will be added.

We are also looking for volunteers to help with talks. We often get ask to give a talk at schools, various groups/organisations, churches, companies, colleges etc. Having volunteers support us by attending takes the pressure off staff. Training will be given.

What skills do I need?

No experience needed—just a willingness to help and a big heart.
