Tour Guide Assistant

We are looking someone to assist the tour to provide meaningful experiences for visitors by engaging and

educating them about the area.

The duties and responsibilities of a Tour Guide Assistant include:

· Stewarding groups on tours of St. Osyth Priory.

· Checking the list of tickets sold with attendees.

· Ensuring the safety of the group at all times and following our Risk Assessments.

· Answering questions and engaging with visitors to provide an interactive experience

· Dealing with emergencies and unexpected situations as part of a team.

What skills do I need?

· A willingness to learn and work as part of a team.

· A willingness to support the aims of objectives of St. Osyth Priory and Parish Trust.

· Respectful and diligent.

· A personable manner and good people skills.

· Keep to agreed working days and times and be punctual.

· An interest in local history and heritage.

· A willingness to follow the Risk Assessments provided and work with staff in a dynamic way to

ensure the safety of all visitors and users of the site
