Volunteer Counsellor

Our vision for One Community is to support a healthy, sustainable and prosperous community for all.

Our core objectives are:

• To develop the skills and capacity of local people
• To work in partnership with others to promote community well being
• To manage and source affordable  and accessible community facilities 
• To create a sustainable community anchor organisation 

We are looking for volunteer counsellors, to support with the delivery of our tasks in the community.  We would be willing to speak to those who are completing their counselling qualifications, alongside those who are already qualified. We will liaise with you to work out times that you can volunteer and support those who are in need.  A calm nature and an idea of the local area and demographics would be helpful.

We have a Volunteer Investment Program (VIP) which we offer to all volunteers, this can support with discovering your skill sent and future employment opportunities. 

What skills do I need?

We are looking for volunteers from the local community who are inline with our mission status of improving the community for the community

We will support potential volunteers in finding the right volunteer roles for them
